Details and How To Sign Up | About Goddard School | Childcare Location Details: a Real Bookstore
We're happy to offer free childcare the morning of our inaugural event - Saturday, October 13, 2012! We want to do what we can to help you get active with us. We've teamed up with The Goddard School of Allen and a Real Bookstore to provide childcare right by the race site. You must pre-register (see below). Childcare will run from 6:30 am to 11:15 am (the race course closes at 11 am).
PRE-REGISTRATION CLOSE THURSDAY, 8 PM so that the school has enough time to check that they have the right number of teachers!
Ages: We can accommodate potty-trained children up to 11 years old.
Pre-registration online required: You must pre-register each child online here in order to participate in this great race day benefit... This allows The Goddard School to plan the appropriate number of staff there to assist race day!
Children are invited to run the Kids' 50 Yard Dash before going to the childcare. While you are signing them up for childcare, don't forget that you can also get your children active by signing them up for our Showdown 50 Yard Dash as an add-on to the childcare! A race to the finish as all the 5K and half marathon participants cheer them on, and only $10 per child.
 The Goddard School of Allen will be providing their teachers to oversee The Showdown Half childcare race day morning.

They are an accredited school through AdvancED as well as voted the #1 preschool in Allen by the readership of the Allen American newspaper for 2010, 2011 and 2012.
 We appreciate a Real Bookstore providing their store, and extensive children's reading area, to our participants for childcare services on race day, Saturday, October 13th! a Real Bookstore is the community destination for booklovers.

a Real Bookstore is located in The Village at Fairview (the same shopping center where the race site is). The store's address is 113 Prairie Road, Fairview, Texas 75069, but we highly suggest you consult the map below to help orient yourself since The Village at Fairview is a large multi-use development!
